Waxing is a method used to remove unwanted hair from the body. In this procedure, hot or warm wax is applied to the skin in the direction of hair growth. The wax adheres to the hair and skin, and then a strip of cloth or paper is placed over the wax. Once the wax cools and slightly solidifies, the strip is quickly pulled in the opposite direction of hair growth.
